We need your help with the Tough Tiger- Can you help?
The Tough Tiger committee could use help with sponsorship. We have thirty letters that need to go out to sponsors and an additional twenty that need to be called who are showing interest in corporate sponsorship. With that being said, it would be beneficial to have someone volunteer as a a team leader for sponsorship. The job will entail:
Mailing sponsor forms
Keeping a running list of all sponsor forms going out
Calling to follow up on sponsor forms
Receiving checks to be sent to the PTO for processing
Bookkeeping of checks coming in to be shared with the team weekly
Collecting company logos for sponsor levels silver and above to send to the T-shirt team for processing by March 31st.
Justine Currie will be the support person for the sponsorship team leader. Know that you are not in this alone.
Whooo’s Reading? WE are!
At the end of the first full week of Whooo’s Reading our kids have read for an amazing combined 143,000 minutes and raised $11,639! That is incredible! If you haven’t yet logged on, it is never too late to join. Please e-mail Sue Cosentino Stockwell at firstname.lastname@example.org or Kate White at email@example.com for log in help or questions.
Please log in using Chrome via www.whooosreading.org or fund.whooosreading.org for best results.
Also, if you or your sponsors choose to pay by check, please include the child’s name on the memo line.
We have lots of fun prizes coming up, including raffles for a chance to participate in Protect the Pin with Mrs. McGee, Fort Day with Mr. Whittaker, and ultimately, the culminating Half Sleepover for our top readers, raisers, and overall participants. We also have some Book Bucks to award during this week’s Book Fair. Please get involved and join the fun. DEAR time, school read-alouds, and all reading done at home count, so let’s keep reading
