BMS Spotlight on Learning:

This week we would like to shine our BMS Spotlight on Ms. Kylie McPherson, Mrs. Diana Ouellette, Mr. Eric Altieri, Mrs. Melanie Roy, Mrs. Kristin Willet, and Mr. Alex Tainsh for opening their classrooms for our learning walk this past week. BMS opened their doors to educators throughout the state to see flexible space in action. Thank you for opening your doors and showing our visitors what teaching and learning is all about at BMS! Well done!

PTO Meeting and Parent Aspen Help Workshop:

Following our October 7, 2019 PTO meeting (7:00 pm - 8:30 pm) we will be conducting a Parent Aspen Help Workshop. This workshop’s primary goal/focus is to familiarize parents with the ins and outs of Aspen. Some of the topics discussed will be how to view your child’s current grades/scores, how to see your child’s assessment data, how to see your child’s teachers’ Aspen pages (homework/assignments/etc.), as well as answer any questions you may have. Prior to the workshop it will be helpful if you have your Aspen parent login information. If you need this information please email x2help@barringtonschools.org.

BMS Office Information:

The BMS Office is open daily from 8:00 am until 3:45 pm.  As always, students need a note from home given to the office before homeroom on days when they will be dismissed early.  We are very impressed by the number of students, especially 6th graders, that have followed our procedure and come to the office on their own to meet their parents for dismissal!  Well done!

Please join us on Wednesday evening, October 16, 2019 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. You may obtain a copy of the book through the public library or pick up a copy at Barrington Books.
